You decide to approach some of the girls who are chatting quietly amongst themselves. You see that one of the girl's is the blonde from the cargo hold. You learn her name is Izzy, and she has been sold to new owners four times. She is petite, only reaching to your shoulder, even though you are only 5'6. She is a lot chattier than she'd been onboard, talking about the planets she'd lived on and the different owner's she'd had. You listen with interest as you are completely new to the life. You also wonder if perhaps Izzy embellishes a little when telling her stories. If not for her being a slave, you'd almost think she'd been lucky, the way she'd travelled around galaxies, meeting different people and experiencing different cultures. Most of the other girl's seem enraptured by her stories, but you wonder just how much of them are true. You are curious about her encounter with Jaimie but she doesn't mention it.
Another one of the girls, a black girl with almond shaped eyes and a hourglass figure told them her name was Marian, and that she was from Beta/Echo 498-345, a mining district out by Saturn. She had been sold when she was six, her mother had a drug problem and needed the money. According to her, she'd been lucky and had been purchased as a companion for some rich fellows daughter. "It sucked, I always had to make sure she was better than me. I used to cut my own hair and leave it unbrushed so that I'd look uglier than her. But I didn't get touched or raped like some do, and I was taken care of. Eventually though she grew up and didn't need daddy to buy her friends anymore. Now here I am."
The third, Josephine, the shyest of the three didn't say much. She had wavy red hair hanging down into her eyes and had a pear shaped figure. She didn't speak much when they other girl's told their stories, and all you really learn about her is that she had first been sold when she was twelve.
Eventually though the girl's become curious about you and begin asking questions.
