You swing your hatchet upwards in a violent arc as you try to slide your body away from Brooke's descending machete.

Your aim is true. Your blow bites deeply into her leg, tearing open her femoral artery.

Unfortunately, you didn't dodge quickly enough. Brooke's machete blow strikes your chest and severs your aorta.

You drop your hatchet as you feel your life rapidly slipping away. Brooke's machete falls from her grasp as she drops onto the ground next to you, bleeding out. She knows she's doomed. Her face is peaceful.

It's also the last sight you ever see.
