"Here, let's go on back to my place." You smile at him. "I have an apartment to myself."
Cailean's face brightens and he nods. "Sure, I'd like that. It'd be nice to have a home again." He steps close and nuzzles over your back. "Lead the way, but...stay out of sight." The leopard has a very good point, since seeing a pair of big cats in the city is a great way to cause a panic. As Cailean doesn't have clothes, and now neither do you, there aren't a lot of other options to get back without alerting someone.
Creeping through the park together, Caliean gives you tips on how to be stealthy, obviously coming from long decades of experience. With his help learning about your new body and only a couple of bumps and scrapes on the way, you both manage to make it to the edge of the park.
Home is just a dash away, and when no one is looking (for very long) you bolt for the alley behind your apartment. You're relieved that for once your habit of leaving the bathroom window open is going to pay off. In spite of your lack of thumbs, you get the screen off the window and clumsily squirm inside. Cailean follows you in, but both of you fall awkwardly into the tub. At least you're back in your apartment.
