You decide to enter into another Jump, playing by the rules of the game-maker, the voice. You can hear it promise you about the current Jump being your last one before it lets you go. However, this occurs in a cycle and you hear it tell you that before every other Jump. What’s worse, you always have believed him every single time.
Don’t get it wrong, you are not stupid; it is only because the voice has become not only your last source of hope, but a beacon of friendship that you know will last for eternity.
And so you submit to the voice, letting him tell you what to do and what you are, making you forget about your true identity – or even if you were even human or not in the past life. But all of that did not matter anymore. As long as you stay in this pit and remain with the voice you have fallen loved with forever.
“This is your last one, I promise,” you hear the voice tell you.
You nod accepting his command without hesitation. “Just one more…”
One more Jump.
