Swallow your pride, and give this dude mouth-to-mouth

You get into position, on top of the unconscious guy. Then, you pump your fist into his chest 30 times.
There isn't time to hesitate, so you swallow all of the saliva in your mouth (and your pride), and press your open mouth to his. You release as large of an exhale as you can manage into him, and then inhale deeply, and repeat.
You begin to pump his chest again, but on the 14th pump, he comes to, coughing and sputtering.
"Oh, Joshie!" Laurissa shrieks, throwing her arms around him.
"Wh-what happened?" Joshie deleriously inquires.
"Eddie gave you CPR," Laurissa answers. "He just saved your life!"
A look composed of astonishment and gratitude spreads his face. "Wow..." he says weakly. "Thanks."
"How can we ever repay you?" Laurissa wonders.
