Arya felt the blood rush to her face. "It was an accident!" she shouted.
"You're an accident!" shouted Sansa in return, as Jeyne laughed at this stellar display of wit.
Arya, angered, shouted back "You're a bitch!"
Sansa's eyes went wide at her sister's swearing. "You... little... wretch!" she declared.
"Bitch!" shouted Arya again.
Sansa stepped forward and grabbed Arya by the shoulders. "You... take that back, you... you..."
"Why should I?" snapped Arya. "It's true! You're a bitch!" Her mind went over various bad words she'd heard the servants say, and an especially nasty one occurred to her. "A bitch and a cunt!"
Sansa's face went red at that, and she suddenly slapped her sister. "You... illbred bitch!"
Arya's temper rose and she began to punch Sansa. "Cunt!" she screamed. "Cunt! Stupid, stupid cunt!"
Sansa livid, responded by pushing Arya to the ground. "You fucking whore!" she screamed. Arya began to strike back, and for the next few minutes the Stark sisters rolled around on the floor of the sept, hitting each other, and calling each other nasty, obscene names, all while Jeyne Poole laughed uproariously.
That was the state they were found in when the sept's door opened...
