You turn around and bolt towards the door. Unfortunately you trip on the hem of your skirts and fall onto the floor of the tavern. The pirates and thieves laugh at your antics, and one of the pirates hauls you up.
“You’re coming with me Miss Beech. I was going to steal your father’s ship, but taking The Rising Sun and holding his beloved daughter for ransom is an even better plan!” Captain Whitlock says, and the pirates all cheer at this speech as you faint.
Later, you wake up locked in your father’s study aboard The Rising Sun. You look out the porthole and can only see ocean. You are being held on the ship!
