Rescue/Carol can distract him

I look at Carol, and we both know what I'm thinking. She nods to me, and looks back at the man. I run into Alex's chamber and begin to untie him. Next door, Carol grapples with a life or death situation.
She runs to the back of the room, and the man looks over into Alex's chamber, figuring I'd be quicker to kill and he could take Carol afterwards. Carol seems to know that as well, and looks frantically around for something to get his attention. She grabs the bottle I threw earlier and tosses it again at him. This time, it shatters on impact and his shoulders rise up as he turns at her. I pull at the ropes, trying to figure out the order of the layered ropes to remove first. The man rushes back into the room, and I hear Carol shriek. I quickly make a decision, get him loose, and start to stand up when I hear the horrible sound of the chainsaw entering something and getting muffled. The sound is followed by a worse one. A panicked scream that becomes a cry of extreme anguish from Carol.
I run into the room to find the man forcing the chainsaw into her stomach. I scream as well, and freeze in fear and disgust. Carol's hands try to grip the blade, tearing them to hell. The man then makes a quick, upwards jerk, and brings the blade of the chainsaw upwards through her chest, through her jaw, ending her scream abruptly, and then out of the top of her head. The now free blade throws blood, tissue, brain, and bits of clothing around while Carol falls backwards against the wall and slides down before hunching over. Alex comes out and sees the scene, and makes a sound indicative of one suppressing vomit. He shudders and retches, and I finally move.
I run towards the man and shoulder rush him. He lurches forwards and hits the wall, falling onto Carol's body. His chainsaw spins out onto the floor and sputters until the motor dies. Alex sees the opportunity and rushes at it as the man regains his footing. He turns to me, and smacks me across the face. I fall to the ground and he wraps his hands around my throat. He starts to throttle me, and I can hear Alex trying to start the chainsaw. He squeezes, slowly bringing the amount of pressure higher and higher. I know that he's trying to crush my windpipe, and then will most likely break my neck and go for Alex. I hear the chainsaw start, and the man looks back at Alex. As his head turns, the blade connects with his neck, and throws his head at the wall, landing next to Carol. I try to shove his body off of me, turning my head from the fountain his jugular has created. Alex pulls him off of me, and we run outside, me calling the police on Alex's phone I found in his chamber.
The End.
