Read a book and wait for Alice

Ben decides to wait for her outside the Administrative building on a bench. It's still warm out, the sun setting low in the western sky, creating a picturesque scene, reminding him of one of the reasons he chose to teach here. After a few moments enjoying the view the lanky professor takes out his phone and pulls up an e-book that he had been reading, picking up from where he had left off. He soon becomes engrossed in the thriller and doesn't notice Alice walking up until she plops herself down next to him, pressing her side into his. He looks up, startled, wondering who it could be.
"Hey prof! Where are we headed, I'm starving!" Alice smiles up at him, full of perky confidence. She has thrown on her letterman jacket to ward off any light chill that might beset them tonight. She didn't have time to change, but she has applied some light makeup, just some strawberry lip gloss and a touch of blush, accenting her already rosy cheeks against her pale, creamy skin.
After recognizing Alice Ben smiles, genuinely surprised. He can't help but notice those succulent, pouty lips, begging to be kissed. She looks even more beautiful than when he first met her, however impossible that might be. "Oh jeez, you scared me Alice! Heh, that's good, I'm starving too, I haven't eaten anything since this morning. I know this great diner down on Lincoln, how's that sound?" He shuts off the screen on his phone and slips it back into his pocket, sitting up straighter, fully aware of her body heat pressed to his side.
"Sure, that sounds great!" Alice exclaims happily. She's usually pretty good with her diet, so she figures if she can't find something healthy she can cheat tonight, if only to spend some time getting to know this dashing professor.
"Ok, let's hit the road then, my car is this way." They get up and start walking towards his car at a comfortable pace. For both of them the world ceases to exist in those moments as they start to get to know each other. They gently flirt with each other through dinner as well, both feeling the magnetic draw and heeding it's call. By the end of dinner they are quite comfortable with each other, on a first name basis, neither wanting the night to end there.
Curt texts Ben right as dinner finishes, telling him that the phone is fixed and ready for him to pick up. This provides a perfect way to extend their time together, if just for a little longer. They drive over to Curt's house, pick up Alice's phone, which is working as if new. Alice thanks Ben profusely as they get back in his car, and Ben tries to play it off as if it were nothing. He'll have to thank Curt again later, maybe help him out with one of his crazy projects again. They sit in his car for a few minutes, Alice playing with her phone to make sure everything is good, Ben enjoying her company.
