You begin to take several steps back away from Corbin, who seems to have realized your intention.
"There's an exit to the outside that way." Still without a change in tone or facial expression, he pointed you to the far end of the garage, where a small red light glowed dimly. "Like I said, if you can't accept my proposition, I won't force you to."
You turn to sprint toward the red light, feeling some amount of gratitude to this man.
"I hope to see you again under different circumstances, Alexis." He called out from some distance behind you.
You look over your shoulder to respond, but the shadowy figure has already vanished in the darkness. You feel kind of regretful that you didn't find a way to properly thank him.
You got out of the garage, hopped onto a local bus, and made it home without incident. But you still feel worried that the company, especially that creep Clark, might call the police and try to incriminate you for assault. What do you do now?
