Pretend to be Tom's niece (Abb1-1)

You take a quick look into the rearview mirror, fix up your blonde hair and roll down your window. You slowly drive up in front of your house
"Excuse me!" You call pleasantly to Alex and the man, who both turn with an expression of confusion. "I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. When you said Tom, did you mean Tom Segel? Owner of that lovely local magazine of ours?"
"Um, yes. Why?" The man in the sunglasses looks suspiciously at you.
"Allow me to introduce myself," you call through the window. "I'm Tom's niece, Jenny. And I have to say, I don't think my uncle would be very impressed to hear that one of his employees is out and about harassing and threatening other employees! What did you say your name was?"
The man in the sunglasses grows pale. "Oh- ah- no, I think you misheard. And I was just leaving- "
"Oh, really? I distinctly recall hearing something about you sabotaging this man's potential for a promotion. Really, sir, I'd like to get your name." Alex is clearly stifling a grin.
The man is already backing down the street. "It's very nice to meet you, I, ah, really have to go! Um, tell your uncle hello for me!" He gets into his car and pulls away before you can ask anything else.
Alex is grinning as you park and enter the house. "That was amazing," he laughs, settling down on a worn floral couch. "I really do have to pay him back at some point, though," he adds more seriously.
