You have chosen Shinx, your favorite Pokemon. You've always had a certain affinity for electric type Pokemon, most likely due to your older sister's Pikachu that you had a strong bond with before coming to the training academy. You hope that you can befriend your Shinx as easily as you befriended that Pikachu. You sit in your seat and wait for the rest of the Pokemon to be chosen by your classmates. You swing your legs and twiddle your thumbs. The white button on the pokeball is tempting. You contemplate nicknames for your Shinx. You suppose it would help to know whether the Shinx is a boy or a girl, but the easiest way to determine that would be to let it out of its pokeball. However, you may get scolded and chastised for that.
