Your name is Eric Garvey, a 29 year old white man. You were born and raised in New York, but moved to Texas for work. You were a financial genius, but knew how risky Wall Street could be. So, you made a few investments here and a few trades there and within two years of your arrival you were one of the richest men in the state. Everyone wanted to know your secret, but you were smart enough to keep your mouth shut. Besides, your secret wasn't exactly legal anyway. Fast forward to November of 2016, you voted for Trump. Hillary's increased taxes on the wealthy were enough to make you tolerate Trump's insults on other races. While you hated racism in any form, your wallet came first.
When war broke out, Donald Trump selected you as his chief economic adviser. You took a risk by accepting, but decided that if Trump was to have a chance, he needed to maintain the South's fragile economy. While you soon learned that President Trump usually ignored his advisers, he did take your input into consideration.
Currently, you were in a war meeting, with Trump putting forward a bold new plan. And by bold, you mean stupid.
"So," Donald Trump summarized, "If we can secure San Diego and Portland, we can easily march through California. Pretty great, right?"
The whole room erupted with backlash. The General points out that the US army is marching through Virginia, and that we needed to stop them. Others point out the amount of fortification San Diego has, and the threat of Mexico joining the fray. However, you can tell Trump isn't listening.
"Garvey, what do you think?"
You know his plan is dumb, but you also know he's not gonna change his mind.
