Mad Science/Time Machine (Pete) 7

From Create Your Own Story

"That sounds pretty dangerous, Emily, but the potential benefits are probably worth it. Let's do this!

"Hold on, Tiger. We have to develop the linkage machine first, and program it, and do animal tests. It's going to be a while yet."

"What about the time machine, then?"

"We can work on that while the mind booster is under development. Multitasking is the way to go. But first, I have to get mine approved and you have to get your plans done."

You think of something. "Emily, why haven't you got Trevor involved in your project?"

Her voice drops to a conspiratorial whisper. "To be honest, I don't think Trevor's that bright. He spends his time staring at my breasts. I wish he'd study my brain that hard."

"Let me get a saw and I'll study your brain." If her breasts were anything to go by, she'd have a really pretty brain.

"Ha ha. Anyway, you're the best!" She hugs you. Since you're sitting down, that gives you a really close look at the aforementioned breasts. Then she runs off to present her idea to the teacher.

It doesn't take too long to get your proposal together. It'll be a vehicle, so you can use it to travel around as well as through time, and it'll use a mental control system because that way you can take advantage of the work you'll be doing with Emily.

When you're done you take the plans to Allison for her blessing.

"A time machine? That's pretty ambitious! Are you sure you can pull it off?"

"I think so. It may take more than one semester, but I'm collaborating with a classmate."

"Good Luck! Make your Home Room proud!" She initials the plans.

Just as you leave Allison, Trevor comes up.

"You got your plan? Great! What are you making? Need any help?"

"A time machine. I'll need all the help I can get to have it done on time. Thanks for volunteering. Emily's helping too."

"That's good, she's a whiz. But whatever you do, don't get involved in that mind linking project of hers. Whoever helps her with that is likely to get their brain turned to oatmeal. I wonder if she's found a sucker yet."
