“What about the family?” You ask your mom.

“You mean ours?” Your mother raises an eyebrow.

“No, the Italian mob family... Yes, our family.” You tease.

Your mother frowns at you. “What about our family?”

“Well, you know. What do you think about the family? Be truthful now, I can take it.” You say as you puff out your chest.

“Oh you.” Your mother giggles. “Well... there's your father... He's a wonderful man, but hasn't been paying much attention to me lately. Well, I guess he has other things to deal with right now... but it'd be nice if he was more attentive. Then there's your brother, Fred. I don't know what to do about that boy some times. It's great that he could still stay with us, but all he does is exercise and parties. Then there's Abby...” Your mother's voice trails off and you watch her brow furrow.

“Abby's a sweet girl...” Your mother finishes. From the context, you could tell that your mother's unhappy with Abby. She must realize how spoiled, evil and promiscuous Abby is. It's no secret to anyone accept your father, who believes her to be some pure beacon of light.

“Then there are the twins.” She eyes you playfully. “There's Kelly. Loves music and hanging out with friends. So social and so much like her mom. Then of course, that silly boy of mine, Kevin. There's something wrong with his head. He likes video games... he's an honor student and I couldn't be more proud of him.”

“Shucks.” You exaggerate embarrassment. The two of you laugh. After the laughter dies down your mother sighs and goes back to thinking. You could ask her more things or finish speaking to her. Do you:
