You ease the doors open and walk into the living room of the house. You are surprised to find that there are a few lamps on inside. This makes the house seem almost cozy. In fact, if your name were Ed Gein, you could say this house is a lot like home. Anyway, there are some odd shadows cast by the lamps on the wall. A clumping sound is coming from the basement. There's a flight of stairs leading up into a dark room, and a young man looking at you from the kitchen past the living room.

Let's talk to the chef. He seems friendly.

The basement sounds inviting. Let's go down there.

Let's go upstairs. Dark upstairs places in creepy houses on alien worlds are always very cozy.
