You know it's ultimately up to Brian, but he's not the snobby type to turn a gal down just because she's a bit nerdy, or at least to the extent that you've known him. At least, excluding his comments about schoolwork but he hasn't made those comments again so maybe he's learned.
"You can come if you'd like. It's just me and another person, and they won't mind you along."
"Really? Oh, thank you so much! I never get to go this sorta thing!" She sounds so overjoyed, she almost sounds a bit hysterical.
"Calm down Bekah, don't need the whole school knowing, right?"
"Oh, right. You're completely correct. How do I get there?"
"Follow me home and we can walk over, it's only a few blocks from my house."
"Oh, okay. Ummmmm, I don't have a swimsuit though."
She gets up right as the bell for the next class rings, and you realize this could be a problem. While you could give her one of your spare swimsuits, Bekah has a full foot on you and is more endowed. It wouldn't be the best fit.
