I hate zombies! Kill it! Kill it! Kill it!

You blast the zombie with your laser baton. It dies in a fireball, but more zombies approach from behind it. You run through the house's double-doors and enter the living room. Across from the living room is a kitchen where a chef stirs a boiling pot of vegetable soup with his bare hands. The pot may or may not contain a brain. Without thinking, you shoot the creepy chef who keeps staring at you with a pair of glowing eyes. A group of black-robed cultists descend the stairs, having heard the noise. The cultists collide into the zombies as they break down the door. With the zombies and cultists thus occupied, you can nonetheless hear a low, humming sound coming from the basement.
