"Oh dear." The man frowns and looks down at the desk. He scribbles something on a form of some kind.
"Umm," you say confusedly. "Is this a high-paying position?"
"Why, yes, yes it is, in a way, I suppose. It pays well, but let's not dispense formality here. Good morning, Sir."
"Good morning?" you reply awkwardly.
He frowns, then smiles, "Why did you say good morning when you know perfectly well that it's afternoon?"
"...because you said good morning."
He shakes his head and mutters something, scribbling in again on the sheet.
The man looks up and smiles widely again. "Good afternoon, Sir."
