Help Annabelle carry Joe out of there

Maybe two of you can carry a man faster than one. It might make the difference between escaping and dying.

You race after Annabelle into the bedroom. The two of you grab Joe and carry his unconscious body into the living room and towards the door of salvation, moving as fast as you can. Annabelle yanks it open and the three of you tumble inside. You slam the door shut behind you and lock it. You turn around...and find yourself staring right into the barrel of Annabelle's rifle as she points it at your face.

"Ana, what the hell..."

She simply motions with her weapon. To your horror, you discover that you have a zombie bite mark on your right forearm. With your adrenaline pumping, you didn't even feel it.

"It'll take about two minutes for you to turn into one of them," says Annabelle. "If you want, I can wait."

Acceptance of your fate comes surprisingly quickly. You can already feel the first physical changes beginning to take effect. "No. I won't let myself feel what it's like to become a monster. Just do what you have to do." A tear rolls down your cheek.

Annabelle is crying too. "I'm sorry."

Those are the last words you ever hear.
