You order your coffee at the counter and decided to go over and say hello to your classmates.
You walk towards there table and as you approach penny notices you.
’hi Jake’ she smiles causing Samuel to lift his head from his laptop at greeting you too ’Hey Jake’
’hi guys, how's it going? ’ you casually ask while taking a quick look at the coffee shop door to see if anyone he's entered that could be the Italian daddy you are meeting.
’not so great ’ Penny says shooting a look at Sam to express her unhappiness with him ..’ we are working on a few newsletters for the summer school programs and Some people are perfectionists, and if they don't hurry I'm going to miss Mr Hodges summer art class’ she continues
’ok, ok... I'm done! ’ Samuel says slamming his laptop closed and removing a pen drive from the USB port
’about time! ’ penny says rolling her eyes and then smiling.
’well we got to get going Jake gotta drop this pen drive off at the principles office and also get penny to her art class at the school, nice seeing you ’ Sam says pushing his glasses up I his nose and grabbing his backpack and laptop
’ I thought you would be attending Mr.Hodges summer art classes Jake, being one of the most talented artists in the school and all ’ penny mutters with a smug look on her face. she has always been jealous of your art skills. Art class its probably the only school subject where She is not the number one student, so she seems to have a bit of a chip on her shoulder about it.
’you can grab a ride with us if you are going?’ Sam offers
You forgot all about the summer art classes and you were thinking of going before school finished up but it just slipped your mind. Also, you remember you have left some books in your locker and have been meaning to collect them whenever you get the chance.
You look again at the door and it doesn't seem like you Italian daddy has turned up yet.
