You quickly cover your head and soon begin to snore. You hear someone running up stairs with the pitter patter of small feet. Whoever it is, it opens your door and jumps on top of you. "Wake up you lazy bum! Its already morning! Mom's going to hit you if you don't wake up." In a high pitch voice, a child calls to you and you soon realized its your sister, Alaina.
"I don't want to wake up now... gimme a moment longer..." as you shift around and cover yourself fully with you blanket. She yanks it away and you curl up cold. You slowly look at her sleepily and she frowns angrily at you.
"Wake up and get ready! I can't eat until you're there with me brother!"
She stomps away and slams your door. You realized that you have to wake up and go. You dress out of you pajamas and head down stairs. Alaina is already at the table waiting for you and your mother is setting the table up. "I told you to get up young man five times already calling your name and you still want to sleep? What is your father going to say if you keep this up?" Your mother lectures you for a bit and finishes setting everything. You look at her as she walks around putting everything away and you know that she the prettiest woman in the village despite your living condition and your long gone away father.
