After transferring your wallet and keys to your shirt pocket, you remove your pants and hand them to the officer.

"That was quite a job you did on that jerk," you say, "but you'll need something to cover up."

"Thank you," she replies, putting on the pants. "But you can't be out in public without pants. You could be arrested for indecent exposure."

You respond by:

• Asking her to escort you home so that you can find some pants
• Telling her angrily to arrest you if she's that much of a stickler
• Asking her politely if she can locate something for you to wear
