You aim, then kick him swiftly in the side. He groans, then looks at you.
"Sir, I am sorry. A creature know as the Longer bit me, and my life hasn't been the same. Sometimes... Sometimes I feel as if chunks of my life are missing, thrown into the void. People say that whoever is bit by a Longer goes utterly mad, but I find myself in complete control, minus some streches where I seem to lose my memory. Predictably, gibbering nonsense. It's hard. People stare at me wherever I go, crazy or not."
"I'm... sorry." you say in a small voice, realizing how hard it must be, an outcast...
"Anyway," he says. "Can you help me? I guess you could call it a quest, I don't care. But I need you to collect one coconut for me."
"It's the only cure. Temporary, at least." he adds hastily at your befuddled expression. "Please?"
