The moment you step outside with the wooden sandals you found inside your hut, the sun nearly blinded you. You take a step back in surprise and shield your eyes from such monstrosity of a bright light. You had thought the sun was weak, but it was probably because you just woke up. If the fallen raindrops had not woken you up, the sun did the job. More than a dozen voices could be heard. The streets were pretty busy with men carrying bags of rice, women chatting leisurely, and children running around playfully chasing each other. You are almost overwhelmed, but then a man approaches you.
"Dad," you say automatically. Yes, the simulation had programmed the man in front of you as your dad. He smiles, and you could clearly see the laugh lines on his face. It coincidentally reminds you of your real father outside the game, but the computer probably programmed it so that you would immediately relax with him. It worked; you smile joyfully and the two of you begin with morning conversations.
"Usually you'd go to the fields," he said, "but would you like to visit the blacksmith with me?"
