You breathe acid onto a nearby alligator. The alligator gets covered with the stuff and freakishly dissolves into the swamp. Bad move! Even low-witted alligators (these ones, at least) are smart enough to realise what happened. They all attack you and your dragon turtle. You try to fight them but you're hopelessly outnumbered! Together, you and your dragon turtle sink, dead, into the sludge.
And then you are in the dark once more.
"Oh, dear," says the mysterious voice who gave you the form of an imp. "Maybe a black dragon wasn't a very good choice. Please, allow me to pick a form for you."
You are plunged into water. It is dark and cold... and comfortable. You are a fish.
