You rub your eyes and take a peek. Its 3:00 am! You roll over and shut your eyes. Just as you're about to drift off to sleep, however, your downstairs neighbor's dog begins yipping like a maniac. He doesn't usually bark unless one of the neighboring dorms have company over but its a Tuesday and you've all agreed for the sake of sleep to limit your trysts to weekends and holidays. You lie still a couple minutes hoping he'll quit it but soon realize he is not about to stop any time soon.

Do you:

• Try to block out the noise. One of your inconsiderate dorm mates probably decided to have someone over after all.
• Get up and take a look around, he's acting pretty suspicious after all.
