Downfall/Wait until Julianne arrives

You sit on the edge of the bed and wait. About an hour later, the door opens. Julianne comes in, followed by a bellhop, carrying your luggage. Julianne tips the bellhop who leaves with a thank you. Julianne turns around. "Did you shower yet?"
You shake your head.
"Then go. Don't take too long, I am tired."
"Yes, mum." You get your night clothes and do as you are told. After a short shower, you brush your teeth and quickly slip under the light blanket on your side of the double bed. Julianne follows you shortly after. You would like to apologize for what you did in the cab, but you don't muster the courage not to provoke Julianne's wreath. Maybe she let you off the hook, at least for time of the vacation. With that thought, you drift asleep.
