D&D: The howling Wolves: Day 2 ; Head to the adventuring guild

The group heads to the adventuring guild. They cross the busy streets of baldur gate and find the guild house near the dock. The guild house is quiet in the morning. The group stays at the entrace this time, letting Anders and Sandrine go in. They are both greeted by Fina's lovely welcome. :"Hello again."
Sandrine : Hi Fina.
Anders : Is there any requests ?
Fina : Yes in fact there has been some. You may browse the billboard if you want.
Anders nods and head to the billboard. There is a lot of common stuff. Many citizen asks adventurers for minor jobs. Two of them catch his attention, notably because of the pay. A wanted poster for a fugitive and a surprisingly paying casual job about goods transportation.
Anders picks up the notes about the wanted fugitive. Nesalda the witch. Wanted for theft and use of dangerous sorcery. Wanted for a thousand gold piece.
While the other browse the shop, Anders points Sandrine the other note. She picks it up.
Sandrine : wow.. seven hundred gold piece to transport goods through the city... This seems too good to be true. Hey Fina. Why has no one picked this one yet ?
Fina : hum ? oh.. I forgot to remove it.
Sandrine : aw. it's already been taken ?
Fina : No actualy.. no one wants to.
Sandrine : Huh ? How come ?
Fina : Trust me. You don't want to.
Sandrine : well now you got me curious.
Anders : What is this about ?
Fina : well... I'm not supposed to make bad advertisement on our client... Very well. here's the story. The man requesting the goods is named Lars Varonik. He's a... man of somewhat noble birth. He owns a very lucrative business in textile. He constantly makes delivery from the docks to his atelier on the high-streets.
Anders : The city is big but I doubt his cargo risk much from a trip like this. This doesn't justify the cost.
Fina : yes that's because.. it's not quiet that easy. You see it'd be easy for a man like Lars to hire his own private guards. Unfortunately, there's been a lot of complaint against service from him and the city has officially removed his permit to hire personal bodyguard so he is forced to hire adventurers. Unfortunately, anyone who's worked for him has... never took a second job.
Anders : hrm.. the pay is well but... he's asking for more is that it ?
Fina : Yes. He outright refuses groups of male mercenaries.
Sandrine : huh ?
Fina : You see, he believes himself above the rest. So he decided he wants some additional credential from our adventurers before hiring any of them. And it can only comes from a ... female.
Anders -sigh- : I see where this is going. Very well. I'l just put this...
Sandrine -cuts Anders- : so hold on. You're telling me the only thing bad about this guy is that he abuse his authority a little ? does he still pay this much ?
Fina : well hrm... according to what little feedback I had, yes.
Anders : Sandrine.... are you serious ?
Sandrine : what ? I mean the pay is great. Hell, I'm willing to sacrifice myself if it sets us up for an easy job like that.
Anders : ...
Sandrine : beside, we already got another deal going that's in the same line as this.
Fina raises an eyebrow and Anders sigh before looking at her. After an initial confusion, she just smiles, reading in the man's face that it's complicated. Looking back at Sandrine, Anders examine the proposal.
Anders : hrm.. fine. We'l consider it.
Sandrine smiles victoriously. She loves it when she makes anders change his mind.
Fina : well I won't stop you from doing it... It would actually be a huge help if you get me rid of these demands from Lars... I'm willing to put in a little bonus if you go for it.
Sandrine : Awesome. Thanks Fina. you're an angel.
The pair head back out and share their plans with the others. So there's two job possibility. The either take the escort mission, or start hunting down a witch.
