You need to be a man and move on. But you can't show up and let Sarah see this (though she probably has seen worse). You continue driving and stop at a pharmacy a few blocks from the hospital she works at. You buy a couple gauze and some adhesive bandages. After cleaning up, you decide to see Sarah, looking more presentable. When you arrive, you park the car and head into the hospital. Inside, the receptionist pages Sarah and after two minutes, she sees you in the waiting room. You embrace and kiss her before she can ask what happened to your head. When she does ask, you brush it off saying you hit your head playing basketball with Jason. She smiles, which warms you up. You quickly change the subject.
