Chicken wings in spicy sauce

You order the chicken wings, and they arrive swiftly. You admire the look of the meal and begin to dip some of the sauce on the side, firstly biting into a juicy wing without the sauce and it's packed with flavour. You then dip the wing into the spicy sauce and 5 seconds after you bite in, the sauce kicks in. It isn't what you expected, and it's a light sauce, not really spicy as you thought.
