Check to make sure my neighbors are okay!

From Create Your Own Story

You head to the house next door, specifically the one on the right. The house on the left had been abandoned for the last two months, waiting to be sold. Squatters had broken in numerous times and the police were often called on them to get them out, but they always came back much to the realtor's displeasure.

Cautiously, you exited your own yard and entered the neighbor's, their fresh crash masking your footfalls as you hurried up to the porch and tried the door. It was unlocked. You entered, listening for any movement in the house, slowly moving forward on the hard wood. The house was in disarray, the couches and furniture over turned, TV smashed in and light bulbs broken. You hadn't actually met these neighbor's, only waved at them when walking home or getting the groceries. Their kitchen was untouched and most likely fully stocked. Not only that, but the stairs appeared to have no signs of damage at all.

An undead could be upstairs, waiting to attack, or scared members of their family was up there.

However, you could go into their kitchen and keep loading up your bag. Weight is something important to remember, however.
