You, Mitchell, and Peter continue down a narrow dirt path that leads to the Lighthouse.
Peter breaks the bleak silence
"Y'know, Small, I didn't take you for a guy who fucked loser girls" You grin at Peter's obvious reference to the recent fight. Mitchell also grins at the joke. "Hey, we're going to be in this jungle for a long time. Better to get it out of your system now than wind up a faggot."
"You mean like Harris?" That brings the smiling to laughter. Nick Harris was a former member of your gang who had gotten so high on his own morals that he betrayed you and almost got Mitchell arrested for theft. The laughter is loud, more from nervousness than Peter's wisecracks, but it is cut short when a javelin lands in front of you, almost puncturing your stomach. You look around and realize you just walked into the hands of the Hall twins, two Juniors at your school who were always together. The twins are attacking from a cliff on your left side and you spot them scurrying away as if they're challenging you to catch them.
You could easily go after the Halls, and, with the assistance of peter Earl, you can easily kill them both.
But is it a trap?
