Her name is Crimson and she was born to kill vampires. That's all the world has been to her, a bloody battle between her, along with others who have the hunter's mark, and the blood suckers. When she was born she had a birthmark that signaled her out from the rest of the children. A birthmark that was the emblem of a secret vampire hunting society. She has long black hair tied back into a ponytail and a black vampire hunting uniform.
Since she was able to walk she has been undergoing serious training to make her the hunter she is today. When she was born she was adopted by a married couple who were also vampire hunters. In the society it was safer for vampire hunters to marry other vampire hunters. It wasn't a rule. It was just a strong suggestion to ensure that non-vampire hunters would not be killed for vengeance. The society was very careful when it came to innocent people's lives.
She had just come back from a successful mission when she was summoned by her superior. He sends guards to come and escort her to him. Because he is such an important person in the society he is moved around a lot to prevent attempts at assassination by vampires. The guards walk her through one of the many secret tunnels under the society headquarters disguised as a company office building. She reaches a door and is told to go in while the guards stay outside. She is greeted by her superior and he tells her that she has done more hunting than a normal 16 year old rookie and deserves a day off.
She has never heard of a rookie ever getting a day off before. At first she is lost for words, but then she finds an answer she is certain of.
