You don't really like Craig so you decide to mess around with him. Reminding yourself of the fondness he seemed to have had of Aimee many years ago, you respond to his message, unable to help yourself from grinning. "Hi Craig! Haven't seen you in ages. How have you been? I've noticed you live in the same area! It's strange I haven't run into you yet. :)". You write the message, sure that it's not too forward.
You see him typing a response and wait, noting his pausing at times. Eventually you see his reply "I've been great! Yeah, I moved into the area a couple of weeks ago, I'm trying to land a decent job, thus the move. What are you doing in the city?".
"I'm between jobs at the moment. Trying to find one! It's just getting difficult as I get older. The young kids from college seem to land all the decent jobs. If you've just moved here, I could show you around if you want? You know, I always did want to spend more time with you :)" You reply, knowing full well he'd be over the moon.
He responds immediately. "Absolutely! I'd love to hang out. It'd be like the old days!"
You shake your head at his desperation and write your response. "It sure would be! But you know, without the ball and chain. It'll be fun, just the two of us! Just, don't try and take advantage of me ;)" You add the wink, wondering if it's too out of character.
You see he begins typing back immediately and hold back a laugh. As you wait in anticipation you hear the bathroom shower turn off. You look over your shoulder and realize Aimee's clothes are laid out in the bedroom with you, so she will be back soon.
