Your heart wins this round and you stay with Tina (your girlfriend) in Europe. You decide to settle in England and get married. You have three kids and two dogs. Tina opens up her own store and you help her run it. It is fairly successful and you both have enough money to support your family. Four years pass from when you first decided to settle, and suddenly the police are knocking at your door. You open the door and get cuffed and thrown in the back of the car. You are screaming for answers but there are none. At the station you are put in an interrogation room with a stern looking man. You rack your brain for an explanation and run through all the illegal things you have ever done. You stole a few times while backpacking when you ran out of money, you trespassed once or twice for somewhere to sleep, and.......

Oh god, you remember your college loans. The stern man sees you realize this and smiles. He says, "It was $200,000 when you deferred it but thanks to interest you now owe $500,000"
"I don't have that kind of money!" You yell
"Well, you better find that kind of money by next week or you are going to jail for 30 years for fleeing the country and your debts" He says calmly
You think about Tina and your kids and have no clue what to do. There is no way you can find $500,000 in a week and you can't spend 30 years behind bars and miss your kids grow up.
