You lay down your weapon.

"What do you want of me?" you ask.

He does not answer. Instead he dives at you, grabs you by the hair and yanks your head back before you can react. You struggle, but the man is superhumanly strong. He sinks his fangs into your throat and drinks deeply. You feel your blood draining out of you, as well as your life. When he finally releases you, you are no longer alive, but not quite dead either.

"Master," you gasp, kneeling before the vampire in gratitude for his gift.

"Welcome aboard the Drakenhof, son," says captain Von Carstein softly. "And welcome in the family."
