You flood the whole of it. Unfortunately, a man called Noah was building a travelling zoo. He left out the common as dirt animals (ie.Dinosaurs). Just as he was walking along it, the world flooded. He came down as the saviour of the world as his guests at the time got off. You flood them. A decade later (there) you regret it. The gene pool of two people was too small to actually re-create a civilisation. You suppose a less angry God would have let them live.
