You get to Mr Pokemon's house after a few more minutes, and open the door. You find Mr Pokemon talking to Professor Oak! Once he sees you Mr Pokemon comes up to you and says
"Hello, hello! You must be Kris. Professor Elm said that you would visit. This is what I want Elm to examine. I know a couple who run a Pokemon day care service. They gave me that EGG. I was intrigued, so I sent mail to Elm. For Pokemon evolution, Elm is the authority. Even Professor Oak here recognizes that."
Oak turns aside from the computer whereat he had been looking and walks up to you and says
"Aha! So you're Kris! I'm Oak! A Pokemon researcher. I was just visitng my old friend Mr Pokemon. I heard you were running an errand for Elm, so I waited here. You seem like the dependable type take this Pokedex it will record the Pokemon you meet and collect data on them. But I've stayed too long. I have to get to GOLDENROD for my usual radio show." He says his goodbyes then takes off
Mr Pokemon says to you "Kris, I'm counting on you! Good luck!"
As you step out the door, you get a phone call from Elm he tells you that something awful has happened at the lab and to get there quickly! You start to run back, when it starts to rain hard. You get all the way back to Cherrygrove and start to head back on Route29 when you run into someone. You knock each other over. You look up and see the red haired before that was looking in on Elm's lab.
