But at the same time, you can sense her desperation and will to save the Resistance. If submitting to you meant saving Finn, Poe, and countless others--wouldn't it be selfish to not do it? But at the same time, she would never be able to live with herself if she did submit to this.. 'Thing', as she describes you.

You stare at her expectantly, and listen to her internal struggle until she comes to a decision.
