You carefully walk behind Jackson making each movement as quiet as possible. However, you can't seem to silence your nerves; if he were to face you right now, surely you'd fucking puke all over him. Slowly you take your hands and place them onto his shoulder. Immediately Jackson stiffens up, with the words, "What the f-" quickly escaping his mouth. Before can finish the sentence however, you try and sooth him. "Relax." you say ironically since, right now your voice sounds like a fucking garbage disposal. "I just wanted to tell you that over the summer... I've come to the realization... that you mean a lot to me. I mean I can't imagine someone other that you would help me get that scholarship. Seriously, you're like family to me- actually maybe I appreciate you even more than family."
Sensing the shift in tone Jackson turns toward you his face bewildered. "Look," you take a very very deep breath, "When you left for camp, I realized just how fucking much I missed you. I don't think there was a day when you didn't come to mind." You can't bare to look him in the eyes. "I'm gonna stop bullshitting, what I mean to say is… I love you, like I really love you."
