Talk to the Prince

You stand up and walk over to where the Prince stands, his arms are folded in front of his chest, as he looks at the fields of flowers, planted in memory of your Mother. Not having had any contact with him in any of the diplomatic meetings, you didn't realise just how young he is, only a couple of years older than yourself.
"The Flowers are beautiful this time of year" You say and he turns to look at you,
"That they are indeed" He nodded with a smile,
"You are Prince Jaden of Hollis, correct?" You ask, watching for a reaction.
"Yes" he nods, turning to you, "Your the Barefoot Prince I guess?"
"I Am" You nod back,
"Come to discuss the Peace talks?" Jaden askes,
"No, i'm not involved in politics" You shake your head as he turns properly to face you,
"So, why did you come to talk to me?"
