You bring the package to your room and see Beth on her bed reading a book about science. Without a single hesitation you drop the package on your bed and open it to see it's contents. Much to your disappointment you find an old book and a letter.
Hello son, it's me, your father. I'm sending you this book as a gift to you. You see this isn't a book that I found recently. No no no, I found it way back before I even met your mother. This book allows you to change a person's mind at your command, that's how I managed to keep your mother faithful to me despite rarely being there. Anyway the reason why I'm giving you the book and telling you this is simple. I'm off, I'm never going back there and no longer need the book to do what I want. Have fun.

What the fuck? You stare at the letter with a sceptic stare before you crumble the letter and keep it safe.
