She looks defeated, but says, "A deal's a deal."
There is 30 seconds left on the clock and Dallas is trying to move the ball quickly. They need to get field goal for the win. Your daughter is smiling, because Dallas has the best kicker in the NFL. They drive to field goal range and have 1 second on the clock before taking a time out, their last. The kicker lines up. The ball is snapped. The kicker makes contact. The same bum of a safety blocks the ball.
You say, "That was unbelievable. Looks like you lost. You know what that means."
The look on her face was one of absolute defeat, as she says, "I have to wear what you want me to wear and do what you want me to do." You could tell she was still in shock. There was no way this could happen, but it did.
