You push off your heels and dive for her, wrapping her up around the midsection. Your weight drives her backwards into the fridge door, slamming the air out of her lungs. The pistol goes flying from her grasp, but she brings a fist down hard in the small of your back, struggling to get free.
You rock back and then push her hard against the fridge again, slamming her body into the door, knocking the cereal boxes on top of it to the floor. She pounds at your back with her fists, screaming in anger as you turn and drag her to the floor. Pinning her beneath your weight, you struggle to get her arms down, pinning her wrists next to her head. Her eyes move to the gun, just a foot away on the kitchen floor.
