Under the bank of the stream
From Create Your Own Story
You wade into the stream and make it safely across to the other side. The water is cold, which feels good at first in this humid jungle. You lift up the canopy of roots and vines and slip underneath, finding a nice pocket behind them where you can stand safely to hide. The water is up to your waist, soaking your jeans, and as you stay hidden, you begin to feel chilly and uncomfortable.
All is quiet for awhile, but then you hear the sound of a firework going off, indicating that one of the other girls has been eliminated. You wonder who it was, but there's no way to know right now.
The silence resumes for several long minutes, until it's broken by the sounds of someone moving through the underbrush. Then there's a little splash. Unfortunately, the screen of foliage blocks your view of what's going on. You could try to peer out carefully and see what's going on and if anyone's coming.
