Realizing you need to make this fight not worth her while, you begin to go for cheap, shallow strikes on any tentacles near your reach. Funny how bizarre this situation is, it still follows the rules of the street. Using your superior knife skills and general combat experience, you are quickly able to score multiple cuts on any tentacles that stray too close. You struggle to move in the water, but just holding your ground, you are able to turn the tide of the fight in your favor. You make sure to attack only when she gets too close or attacks herself. You want her to get discouraged, not angry. Finally noticing a shift in the Squid girl's face. "I'll be back" She says coldly, "And when I am, I'm going to fucking eat you". You lock eyes for one more second before she breaks off underwater out towards sea. "Fuck" You pant, "Thank god that's over". Bobbing gently in the water, your adrenaline finally wears off.
Swimming up to shore, you sink into the sand and take a breather. Thankfully, the beach appears deserted. After some time waiting on the shore, your boat washes up on shore next to you. You boat scrapes along the ground up into the sand.
