Approach Yeoman Barrows

You sit down next to Barrows. She gives you a brief friendly smile but quickly returns her attention to the 3D vid. As far as you can tell, it's some sort of historical drama, full of swashbuckling and derring-do. Someone who's presumably the hero is fighting his way through a small army of soldiers guarding a castle, too quick and nimble for any of them to catch him.
"You probably think this is silly," Barrows says after a while.
"Not at all," you smile at her.
The scene cuts to inside the castle, where a damsel in distress has been chained up by a gloating villain. Her clothes are slightly torn but her demeanor is defiant. You glance sideways at Barrows, and it seems that her attention is caught by this scene -- her hairbrush rests idly in her hand, her skin flushes and her breathing quickens.
You carry on watching together; it's all fairly cheesy and predictable -- the hero makes his way to the villain's lair, defeats his nefarious plan and gets the girl. As they kiss at the end, Barrows seems excited, but not quite as much as before.
"So you like that sort of old-time-y stuff?" you say.
"Oh, yes," she says. "I often wonder what it would be like to live back then."
"Probably not as much fun as it seems," you say, trying not to think about the fact that your own time would probably seem horrifyingly primitive to her.
"Probably not," she agrees. "But still, it's nice to fantasize about."
You give her a quizzical look.
"Not in that way!" she says quickly. Then she blushes and looks away. "Well, maybe sometimes. I have to admit I like the idea of men being men and women being..." She trails off.
