Careful not to wake Julianne, you take her hand and lift it. You lift your pelvis and move closer to the edge of the bed until you cannot feel Julianne against your body anymore. You let go of her hand and search for a comfortable position. Once again, you drift to sleep. You wake up for the third time when Julianne shakes your shoulder.
"Morning, Debbie," she says. She is standing next to the bed, wearing her summer dress, looking refreshed. "Get up, we'll have to go to the airport."
"Right." You get your clothes from the nightstand where Julianne put them and dress quickly. A shower can wait until you have your clothes back. You just wash your face and brush your teeth, and you are ready for the day.
