Prank War/Jennifer/Rubber Band

Jennifer sat in class, staring at the back of Ashley's head.
"Abraham Lincoln was famous for what?" He asked the class.
A hand shot up, and the student was called on.
"Yes, Mike?" the teacher said, waiting for his answer.
"Didn't he do something with an apple tree?"
The teacher gave him a withering look.
"No Mike. You are thinking of George Washington and a cherry tree. Abraham Lincoln is best known for trying to end slavery, which sparked the civil war." The teacher continued to drone on, discussing what Lincoln had done and why he was a great man.
As the teacher droned on, Jennifer grabbed a rubber band from her backpack.
Twisting the ends, she wound it around and around, coiling it into a tight bundle.
When she had it coiled up tightly, she stretched it out, pressing it against Ashley's head, in her hair, and let go.
The rubber band, free, uncoiled, tangling in Ashley's hair.
"Ouch!" Ashley yelled. She reached back in her hair and found the rubber band, trying to pull it out. The more she pulled, the more it tangled.
Soon, the hair and rubber band looked like one ball, stray strands sticking between rubber. She excused herself from the class and went into the hallway. With the door slightly open, occasional yelps came from the hall.
Eventually, Ashley came back in, the back of her hair a complete mess from untangling the rubber band.
"Grr, I will get you for that," she told Jennifer, glaring at her.
